We got our marriage license WOO HOO

Another big check off the list, now we are allowed to get married

and boy was it a circus today, well not alot of ppl, didn't take us long but wow the ppl that were a bunch of characters

No you are not legally married. Its like putting in an application that allows you to get married. Thats why it expires after 60 days. All they give you is a form that you bring to the church and the priest will fill out and sign and both of you sign that is done at the actually wedding ceremony THEN after that they mail that in and you get a marriage certificate

Thank you, it was quite hilarious and FH kept saying 'WHY did you want to go to the one in queens instead of LI' the one in queens is right by my house so thought it'd be easy but oh god the ppl there today, it kept me cracking up though

lol ALOT of ppl think that and here is why, bc many ppl go to these places to get legally married BUT thats only if you go to the chapel there and have them perform the ceremony, we're not doing that. We just filled out the application paid and left. Now if you go to the chapel after yeah you are married hahahaha

yeah one couple oh god seriously made you wonder, i think they were both crackheads and i mean that like they really were lol and the line for marriage licenses was right next to the line for summons lol and you had one guy yelling like a maniac about being there and waiting, uhmmm he just got on the line and there were only like 5 of us in front of him and he yelled for a not even 5 minutes straight and that we all just went right in lol

yes correct just dont go to the one in manhattan because it will take you a very long time, that one is very crowded and ive heard of ppl being there hours
