we got our passports today!!

Hi, Could you PLEASE tell me how long it took to get them from the time you applied???
I lost mine and have to reapply otherwise I can't apply for a marriage license. My PP was the only ID that I had I'm stressing

The post office told my 10 - 12 weeks. I just applied for mine. You can get it expedited, which will reduce your wait time.

I lost mine too, it did not appear to be a big deal. You just need to fill out an additional form.

actually they came sooner than i thought. we ordered 3/3 and they came yesterday so about a month and a half.

do u have a brith certificate? if not u can apply for another one as long as u were born here.

I still have to do that . I totally slacked on the passport thing.

I was just worried that with everyone needing one to travel now that it would take longer than the nor but 6 weeks is GREAT. Did you expedite it?? I was thinking of doing so, just for peace of mind it's $60 more. I think with the extra charges it's like $187.
