We had a BIG day today....

Today, all in one day, me and FH booked our Rolls Royce, Picked out all of the tuxedos, did some more registering, picked out and ordered my new setting for my e-ring, my wedding band, and his wedding band. We also decided on our first dance song.

I had been feeling like I was falling behind on the planning, but after today, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. My FH knew I was feeling overwhelmed, and spent the whole day helping me get this stuff over and done with (I am terrible at making decisions). He's the best!

We booked a '58 Rolls from Royalty Limo. FH picked it out and was very excited (we just got a ride for us because the bridal party won't need a limo since they're not coming for formals at Westbury Gardens). We did the tuxes at Men's Wearhouse in Carle Place. It was very easy and the girl there spent alot of time helping us pick and choose every thing, as a matter of fact, they gave FH a free tux because of all of the other rentals (nice surprise, we weren't expecting it). We got the rings at Elsa's in Farmingdale. My new e-ring setting and wedding band will be platinum with alternating bagettes and round stones- I love the design sooooo much! FH is getting a white gold band with a matte center, and a polished edge- beautiful! I am so psyched! Our song is going to be 'I could not ask for more' (Edwin McCain). As soon as I played it for him, he said he loved it and he wanted it to be the song, so we also bought the CD yesterday.

Of course i'm far from done, but I do feel like I accomplished something this weekend, and I haven't felt that way in a long time.

P.S. I remember hearing something about Men's Wearhouse having coupons, is this true? Where do I get them? I would love to give them to the other men in the party.

Good job in getting all that stuff booked. I can imagine how relieved you must feel.

By the end of the summer, I hoping to have my dress, bridesmaids' dresses and the florist done.
