We had our e-party

sounds like you both had a wonderful time!!! I was wondering if you two had registered becuase my mother is throwing us a party but right now we live in an apartment and have little room for anything new.

We didn't register yet, for a few reasons. 1- Our tastes and needs will probably change and I don't want to have something I like now but will hate or not need in a year. 2- We too don't have room in our apartment for a ton of new stuff. And 3- not to sound selfish, but I thought if we registered now and people bought stuff for the e party and gifts from out of town friends and relatives, there would be nothing left for people to buy for the shower. It worked out well b/c most people gave us $$ which will be put away for the wedding.

I agree on everything.. with the slight difference that we still live at home... where on earth would we put any gifts.. my closet is already packed with stuff we've bought and given to us!!!

My fiance and I live at home too so we've been storing the presents we've received in our attics. We recently started a registry so that for Christmas and Birthdays for the next two years we can start aquiring stuff for our own place since we need EVERYTHING and I don't think we'd get it all at the bridal shower and wedding alone.

BTW-Congrats on the party!! I'm glad you guys had fun. I love parties

We had our engagement party yesterday!!! It was so much fun and everybody had a blast. I was impressed that everyone who said they were coming actually showed up!! I'll post pics as soon as I get them developed. Yeah..I still use my trust disposable cameras!! I realized that we were so busy smoozing with everyone that no one used my camera to take a pic of us! I have to call my friends who did and have them send me the pics they took! I felt like it was a great rehearsal for the wedding...all the planning and preparation and now it's over!! It was great though. We got a lot of gift cards and people were generous with the $$ which is great b/c it is going right in the wedding account!!

I'm so glad you had a good time!!!! And it's never a problem if you forget to take pics, so long as you have others who will share :)
