The real estate told us the taxes were very high on our house because of the extensions. Could our taxes go up once they get the C/O's? The real estate said no but I am worried.

Your taxes are going to go up because once you obtain a c of o the space is now legally documented and homes are taxed on living space. Regardless of what your real estate agent says banks do not lend money on dwellings without a c of o due to liability. The only way to obtain a loan on this type of situation is through private lending. let me know what happens and the best of luck to you.
