We are supposed to leave tomorrow around 4pm, and arrive in Northern VA around 10ish. A few of my friends called and are worried about traveling.

I'm starting to get worried about our drive.

where are you going? is it something you can postpone or cancel? it might be fun if you have to find a hotel along the way and wait out the storm be careful!!!

if you decide to go, drive carefully! Just keep an eye on the weather... Is there any way you can leave earlier?

We are going to one of my best friend's wedding, it's on Sunday. We could go late Saturday night, but it takes 6 hours to get there (probably a lot longer with this weather)...we need enough time to get some sleep before the festivities.

We can't leave earlier, because DH is working Saturday, he can't cancel appointments now...what's frustrating is that I told him months ago to take Saturday off, I wanted to leave Friday night so I could hang out with all of my college buddies that weekend...but he never looked into getting a relief veternairan to cover all the appointments.

This stinks!

Aww - crappy situation. I know that trip down 95 can be awful in good weather... I hope you luck out and the skys will clear earlier. And, as someone said before, there is the possibility of pulling over and staying in a hotel, or hanging out at one of the many rest stops along 95.

Good luck with whatever you decide :)
