We have to postpone our wedding to 2007!

Hi girls.... due to a serious illness in my immediate family my FH and I have decided to postpone our wedding to June of 2007. We are not happy about it but it had to be done....

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope that whoever it is in your family that has a serious illness will start doing better real soon.

As for your wedding date, remember that the important thing is that the 2 of you are together, that you've found each other and are in love; regardless of when you say I do. There are a few brides that have pushed back to 2007, don't worry, once an 06er always an 06er!!

Thanks! It's my dad, he was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer during the holidays and needs to have a bone marrow transplant so he will be in isolation for months and that falls really close to the wedding. Even if he could make it to the wedding he would be so ill. I just could not be happy with him being so sick. So we decided to postpone it.

I am so sorry to hear that. Fh and I almost did the same thing because my mother got sick in January. She's getting better, thank goodness.

When something like this happens, priorities become instantly clear. When your father is with you at your wedding, it will be the best feeling in the world.
