OMG... they just went out yesterday and FH lil cuz is calling cause she is mad that we didnt let her bring her LOSER bf!!!! FH entire fam has a big prob with him so we figured it would be better to hinvite her with her parents and now she is upset!!!

To be honest, when I was 20, if I was invited to a wedding or something, without my bf I would be super pissed off. I was in a similar situation, where a family friend who is 20 years old was upset that she wasn't invited with her bf. We where in a different situation & initally didn't have room for another person. Then she responded 'No' just because she couldn't bring him, even though I offered to put him on a b-list in case we received too many Nos.

ITA. If they live together, I'd invite the boyfriend. I'd be insulted if my FH wasn't invited with me to a wedding when we were living together but not engaged yet... and you don't need 'family permission' at 20 to live together. I get that you guys don't like the guy but if that were me I wouldn't come to the wedding.

I'm sorry but she lives with the person. I think it is wrong to invite her without an invite to him as well. It doesnt matter if her family disapproves of him or what not.

yea it is dif if they live together, It is expected to invite that person but obligated, i thinks not..lol...the person besides yourself that is obligated to come to th ewedding is your FH..lol...
