When do I send the thank you? When do I cash the check?

Send the Thank you now, if they arent' attending the wedding. ONe less one you will have to write out after

I would cash it right away, Do you guys have a joint bank account yet? Or just have your FI cash it. I wouldn't wait..JMO

I would cash the check now, and send a thank you now. But, if it is a family member or someone that would appreciate a thank you with a pic, I would send another thank you later with the pic too.

I had an aunt send us a gift way before the wedding and I sent her a thank you right away and she asked us to send her a pic afterwards, so I sent her another thank you with a pic , just saying thank you again.

But for others that sent us a gift, that we hardly knew, I just sent a regular thank you before and no thank you with pic later.
