WE JUST PUT AN OFFER ON A HOUSE! (with PIC)

So excited!!! We just put an offer on this house - it's in Florida, not NY, but that's where DH and I have been living for the past year and a half... We went in a little low (about thirty grand below the asking price) so I think they may counter offer, but we have room to negotiate... Say a little prayer for us!!!

how long does it usually take to hear back from the seller when you put in your offer (assuming the seller has no other offers at this time to consider)?

In FL they move a LOT quicker than they do here in NY, at least once you are in Contract. The Mortgage Broker that I work with up here also has license in FL, and his deals close down there 3 times quicker than up here, but that's just a NY thing. I'm not sure how the Real Estate Broker end works, I wish I had more info on that for you.

But that is some house, absolutely STUNNING!!! I wish you nothing but the best!!!

Good luck!!! hopefully you move before more snow comes..

that looks like a great house and i'm sure you will love the weather

oh and about the time frame, look at the above post. once price is set, you can close in a matter of weeks (2-3) and heck, you might not even have to be there to do it

Where in Fl? My 2 aunts just moved there this past summer one is in Deltona and the other in Orange City

It's a beautiful house, good luck!!

I remember when we were waiting to hear back from our seller if they were going to accept our offer, it was so nerve racking. You should hear from them within a couple of days if they are accepting your offer.
