We lost the house.

Nothing like making a bad day worse.

The seller backed out. This was my biggest fear when putting the offer in. That I was going to get my hopes up and then she'd decide not to sell. She's going thru a divorce and understandibly is very attached to the house. Well, she kept extending the attorney review and now she has decided to back out of the contract.

We are once again.... house-hunting this weekend.

Valentinegirl, we are looking in NJ, after the contracts are signed you have a 3 day attorney review... although ours was extended and extended to 2 weeks... then you have about a six weeks or so before you close.

During that attorney review period either party can back out of the sale.

oh no i'm sorry to hear that. this just means that it was not meant to be for whatever reason and YOUR house is out there!!

I am so sorry! I totally understand the feeling. I spent three days crying when we first lost the house I liked. But the one we have now is soooo much better, less hassle... I am so mch happier! You will find something you will love!!!
