We made out very well on our taxes!!!

I am very excited. Being married and owning a home is great! It was only a half year of owning the house too.

Yeah our's too was AWESOME! it was a large chunk that will pay for home remodeling and our many trips planned this year.
being a homeowner is the best

how many allowances did you claim on your W-4? We claimed 4. We haven't gone to the accountant yet...I hope we don't owe anything. We are hoping for the same homeowner benefit that you got!

DH and me had to file separate, the accountant advised us to buy a house soon. We are getting a decent amount separate.

I hate to be nosy, but could everyone give an approximate amount they got back? I just ask because we have 2 kids and a house and we got between $1,500 and $2,000 and we got much more back last year but we also made less last year.
