We may be losing the house...

Its a long story but I just found out, mind you my atty told their's on 4/28 we are ready to close any time. They just let us know yesterday afternoon that the people who they are buying the house from (before selling it to us) needs a guardianship done in another state so this could and most likely will take another few weeks. Unfortunately, I am going to lose my great 5.85 interest rate because the bank wont extend it past 6/3. My contract says we have to close by 5/15 so we are really locked in until 6/15. I already told the RE agent that most likely we will not wait after that, this is just too frustrating to do before the wedding, I say we get an apt and try again after the first of the year, maybe prices will go down. My FI wants to start looking at houses on 5/16. Am I wrong to just want to forget this for now and just get an apt? I'll know more and update as I find out.

ETA: It is Thurs and still no word from anyone.

OMG I am really so sorry! I know the frustration!!!

FH and I lost our house just after we put a bid on it, the owners pulled it off the market! A week later though they called us up again!
Try to relax and wait a little bit!

Step back and re-evaluate. It could still work out and if not it happened for a reason!!!

You guys still have alot of time before your wedding you dont have to commit to either a house or apt so look leisurely and see what happens!
