FH and I weren't ready to REGISTER JUST YET!!! but our engagement party is 3 weeks away!!!! and FMIL wants to buy us some place settings for an E gift... and my mother said that she will buy some too.. to try and complete the set... so we may be getting all of our china as a gift for the e party!!
So FH and I went china pattern shopping.... (after doing some browsing online) we looked at a bunch at macy's and decided on LENOX-OPAL INNOCENCe
I think it's classic... will never go out of style.. now to figure out how many settings to ask for ???
I'm trying to decide between that same one and Waterford Ballet Ribbon -- I love them both

We picked the same one! I'm not registered yet, but we're going to the weekend after FH is done with his surgery rotation. I'm planning on using Macy's, since we have so many OOT guests.

soo funny because i picked that one... and one of my closest friends.. who i was just in her wedding in october and she's in mine----picked Ballet Ribbon!

08 crasher-- love it Kris!!! It is actually the most popular pattern for the past three years. That's the one i originally wanted but FH all of a sudden had an opinion...he didnt like it because he said the pearls were too raised and would get damaged despite trying to show him how durable it was. We picked a very similar pattern just the pearls arent as raised so FH stopped barking and im happy cause it is close enough too it but i loveeee opal innocence.

as for how many, i really think you should go for a setting of 12 or more. you'll definitely use them!!

It's beautiful!! I woul ask for 12 settings. I feel that is a complete set. Some people say 8 but I know my FH and he LOVES to break things so If I have 12 settings I'll probably keep some in a box for when he breaks one
