We registered!

and it was not nearly as much of a nightmare as I thought it would be. FI and I have very different tastes but we agreed on everything. Since FI loves to cook, he had a ball in Williams Sonoma and we also registered at Pottery Barn.
Of course I had to compromise afterwards and go to Lowes and Home Depot to look at french doors for our room addition to our house but it was a great day!

That sounds great! Glad to hear it was fun and not so a nightmare - that is one thing i am worried about. FH and I tend to have slightly different tastes also. - I love Williams -sonoma!

Congrats! Beleive it or not I had just as much fun registereing for his 'Tool Party' at Sears Tool Territory & Home Depot as I did at Fortunoff's. It was pretty cool.

Congrats!!! I'm glad you had fun. I gave my FI 3 options: 1. Not go, I'd take his tastes into considersation but I'd win. 2. Go, and be misserable, in which case I would never forgive him. 3. Go, and have a good time, and I'd make him dinner. He chose #3!

We only registered at 2 stores.
Home Depot and Lowes were just a shopping trip for him!
