We had so much fun! We're doing the classes through our schoold district's adult ed program. It's one 2-hour class for 8 weeks. We learned the Merengue last night and man are my hips sore today! I've been dancing for 25 years so I picked everything up super-fast, my super-jock FH on the other hand was getting frustrated and like most of the men there, had that defeated look as we were leaving. It was alot of fun though and great exercise.

We started ours last Monday. Even though we stepped on each other's feet many, many times (this is why we need the classes...), we had so much fun!

I'm so upset my local high school decided not to offer it this semester. We had planned on taking it with another two couple that are getting all getting married within the next year. I guess now we are going to have to pay for private lessons.

is there a certain website that you went to or a phone number that you called to inquire about adult ed ballroom dance classes? i have searched on google but i get classeslike goiing for a certificate kind of class. any advice?

I just called the HS in the towns around us and asked for their adult ed dept. We actually get a booklet in the mail like 2 a year decsribing the classes that they are offereing. It just happed that this spring they really werent offering too many classes.
