We started the regsitry...

...and I never knew I had a guy who cared so much about how stuff looked. It was a relatively painless process for us because we already knew what we wanted more or less. But when it came to flatware, we butted heads a little. I compromised on flatware because he sort of compromised on china. We are maybe 2/3 done at Fortunoff - will finish tomorrow. There were a couple of over the top things but I figured maybe some rich relative will come out of the woodwork and surprise me!

He said I had my work cut out for me because he actually gives a damn. I thought men werent supposed to have opinons. You had to see us in front of the stemware. We took our china plate and lined up all the glasses next to it. FH tells me to move the glasses around and looks at the engravings and cuts to see if they coordinate with each other. I am thinking, 'Pick the damn glass already!!!'

Sounds like my FI....but first he didn't see the point to the Fine China..then after some convincing about it we are literally at Fortunoff every week his choice NOT mine...he became a man obsessed. We had to battle over the pattern..unltimately I won

Congrats to you...can we know them Temple yet??

We started at Bed Bath and Beyond and didnt finish, and we have to go to Crate and Barrel and Macys...but now I cant get him to go back!! He says We have so much time, and he dosent want me obsessing over who bought things from the registry. I told him I wouldnt, but he still wont go back. I think he wants to wait till this summer. Silly guys!

We are signing a contract on Wednesday, when I get home from the meeting, I'll post it. I am too superstitious now - like something will happen if I count my chickens before they are hatched!
