We Will Never Forget..

I cannot believe it has been nine years. To all of those who lost their lives: rest peacefully.

I saw that a 2010-er posted a thread about being grateful on this day of remembrance, and thought it was a great idea.

What are you grateful for on this day?

i think its important to remind everyone about what went down on this day - and to never forget it. fh is down there now... i am grateful that fh wasnt in his fire house yet... bc everyone working that day in his fire house died. i am also grateful his uncle was off that day!

im grateful for the presence of my family, FH's family and very grateful that I have a job.... Its has been a rough year for us all however knowing that things could be a whole lot worse... im grateful beyond measure.

I am grateful for so many things, but UNBELIEVABLY grateful for my family and friends.

Edited because I didn't even specify 'FH' when I said what I am grateful for. I consider him family/friend, but just wanted to make sure I was clear that he is definitely on that list too.

im grateful for my health, im not 100% yet, but iam getting there. had a huge cancer scare that landed me in the hospital a few months ago.
iam grateful for my family. friends and of course FH who has stood by me through thick & thin, where a lesser man would have walked away.

I am so grateful for all of my family and friends, and especially FH, whomade it through 2 1/2 years in Iraq. Thank goodness he is home safe.

I still can't get over that its been 9 years already it still feels like yesterday.

I'm greatful for my life, my family, fh and his family, my friends. I'm so greatful to be an american and especially greatful to my cousin who served and fought for us in Iraq. Oh and for all that serve everyday for our freedom.

I am grateful to the men and women who help keep us safe everyday, my family (including FH & his family), friends. Even though I complain about it sometimes I grateful that I have a job to go to everyday.

Although my life has dealt me some really crappy cards like being diagnosed with M.S., I will never forget what my neurologist said to me when he diagnosed me, he said 'this is not a life sentence' and from that point on I have always been grateful to be alive.
