I had the same problem if I should keep it on for certain things. Two weeks after we were engaged we went camping. I didnt know what to do I was scared. It also depends on what kind of ride rider you are. Do you keep your hands up? If so I would maybe try to keep my hand closed but I would keep it on thats what its for!

NO WAY ..LEAVE IT HOME .. even if it fits perfectly what if you wet your hand or your hand get sweatyyy ... then the ring will get loose .... at home its safe ....

If it fits perfect I do not see why not. Here is a trrick some one told me. You know those small rubber bands that you would put on your kids hair, you can take one and wrap it around your finger and it will not slip off.

i would probably wear mine but i would turn it around so the stone is facing in, and then clench my hand in a fist. it holds it in place, wont go anywhere

i wear my ring all the time though, i only take it off in the shower (most of the time) and when doing dishes (most of the time).

I've always worn my ring on roller coasters & never thought twice about it. But I'd say if it's loose at all, maybe it's better to leave it home.

great idea!!! i'm going tomorrow and will use this lil trick for extra protection!

We went to Great Adventure and I rode them with both my e-ring and w-ring, no tricks or anything. Even on the Superman ride where you 'fly' through the air, didn't even think about it. They were fine!!

We went to six flags last yr. I wore it and no problems....but I prob wouldnt nxt time b/c I was so worried about it!

and when I heard the platinum hit the tile my heart stopped.

I totally freaked out and now the ring sits in a locked jewlerly box unless I have special occassion



That sounds so sad. Why don't you get it resized and then wear it?

It makes me sad to think of jewelry sitting in a box when it could be worn--you can't enjoy it if you don't wear it!


I aGree!! Can't anything be done to help you feel more secure??? It's sad that you can't enjoy one of the most special pieces of jewelry you will ever own BUT I guess to each his own.

If it fits properly i would wear it, if its a little big I would take it off->or put a ring guard on it if you dont want to leave it home. I wear my ring everywhere-rarely do I get worried about wearing it

I would get this fixed immediately-there is no reason it should fit properly, I had the same thing happen once and it scared the **** out of me, but at the time it wasnt sized properly, take it in and have them size it-then have them flatten the bottom of the band, this makes it so it is still able to be put on your finger but it makes it snug around the base
