wear em or dont wear em

I just bought hazel contacts. I love em.
I considered wearing them for my wedding

my co-worker saw them and said 'dont wear em on your wedding day'

I said why not?

she said ' you wanna look yourself on your wedding day, and not have your grandkids ask you why your eyes were hazel in your wedding pics'

What do I do??

I like em, but I can see her point; what do ya ladies think?

I said no - i kinda agree with what you co-worker said.... I would want FH to be looking into my actual eyes, not altered ones...

hazel eyes are stunning (coming from someone who has them) but keep true to you on your day.. wear em on the honeymoon, shower, bachelorette but i wouldnt for the big day.

Honestly, I wore colored contacts all throughout h.s and college and for me, it was just a phase. Now it's one of those things that I put away with other fashion choices and that I just 'got over.'

I would want pictures to capture your real beauty! Flaunt those brown eyes, they are beautiful!

If you REALLY want, you can always put them in for some shots but don't wear them all night!

I'd say if you want to do it I would maybe get your FH's opinion. I know that if I walked down the altar and then showed up in front of FH with bright blue eyes he might freak out LOL

Personally though, I think you should stick with your natural eye color.

You dont want to say what was i thinking! Your beautiful the way you are, dont change for the wedding day..

yeah... I mean he see them now and loves them(the booger has hazel eyes himself)

I don't hate my brown eyes, they are just ...boring

totally off topic- before i turned 21 i wore green contacts for my fake ID--- about a year later, i ended up doing serious dmg to my cornea from taking them in and out at night- im sure u wont have the same problem for 1 night
but the eye dr wasnt happy with my color contacts,a nd the pain was the worst pain ive ever had in my life

aside from the fact, you wanna be you on ur wedding day, dont you?

I wouldn't wear them; I agree with your co-worker. These pictures will last forever! Maybe wear them for another shoot, like engagement or boudoir pics?

I think I agree with this one. The hazel eyes are prob awesome and your FH seems to like them...so put them in for engagement or budoir pics! I think for your wedding you should be you....like the other girls said...you are beautiful the way you are...and I happen to like your big brown eyes!!

LOL exactly, and I'm getting eye lash extensions too, but yeah I will have brown eyes for the wedding.
maybe I'll see if they have brown eye enhancers.
i think they are black rimmed contacts, they put a darker rim around your eyes.... like eyeliner for your eyeballs LOL
