is anyone planning on wearing a watch? or did any past brides wear one?
i bought a really pretty watch that looks like a cuff/bangle bracelet with swarskovi (spelling *****, i know) crystals.
but its a watch...so should i just leave it home? i think wearing a watch could be helpful...but i dont know if i want to keep lookin at the time either...

Re: wearing a watch on wedding day?
some brides wear a bangle on their wedding but i've never seen one wearing a watch.
i'm not wearing a watch just because i won't care for what time it is because the people will be following MY (and FI's of course) time. hihi. it's our day anyway!

I personally don't wear a watch to begin with so I would feel weird wearing one on my wedding day.....My sister wore a thick diamond bangle and it looks gorgeous....I guess whatever you are comfortable with....it does sound pretty though!

I read somewhere it says never wear a watch on your day or you will be stressed all the time looking at the time

Never seen a bride wear a watch, but if it looks like a bangle then I don't think it will look weird.

I am not wearing a watch. I have a bangle thats it. I never wear a watch and I could always have one of my Bm pull out their cell phone. But if you love it wear it.

Re: wearing a watch on wedding day?
I didnt' wear one. I knew it would be a crazy day and that the RH would keep things moving along, so I left it at home. I also didn't want to kee track of time on our day!! I also think it doesn't look as nice and as 'bridal' as a really pretty bracelet instead...JMO though!

I am not wearing a watch. Someone told me it was bad luck to wear a watch on your wedding day but that could be one of those old superstitions.

I'm not wearing a watch. I personally think it doesn't look right on a bride. You should enjoy your day and not worry about the time.

Re: wearing a watch on wedding day?
I am thinking about wearing a watch...but I have a weird thing with time. I am not neurotic or anything, I just really like to know what time it is. I actually get a little neurotic if I don't wear a watch...I'm a weirdo. Its hard to explain. But yeah, I know that my DOC will keep us on schedule but I'm a little worried that I'd feel more anxious WITHOUT a watch.
Soooo..most likely yeah I'll be wearing one. Man I'm crazy

I'm not sure. If I do, I have a beautiful Bulova one encrusted with Swarovski crystals that FH bought me one Christmas.
