Wearing e-ring/wedding band during the honeymoon

Wearing e-ring/wedding band during the honeymoon

I'm concerned about wearing my rings during the HM. I wouldn't want to leave them in our room safe at any point and worry about wearing them while in Mexico.

I've been thinking about buying fake rings for the HM because I can't imagine not wearing rings at all.

Yes, my engagement ring is insured, but it would never be them same if we had to replace it since that wouldn't be the ring with which FH proposed to me.

Has anyone else given this any thought?

i did, but i just ran out of time and never got to order it. i just wore my wedding band instead. i wish i took my ering b/c it would've been safe. i actually took off my wedding band a few times when i went in the water and left them in the room multiple times when our room was getting cleaned and it was safe. i think you'll be fine w/ your real rings but that's up to you

I wore my e-ring and band the enter 2 weeks and had no issues. Wore it snorkeling, etc. Felt safer to me being on my finger.

I personally am not concerned about this at all. I plan to wear my rings the whole time. If I do decide to take them off when I go in the pool, there's a safe in the room. I think as long as you are smart about it and don't just leave them laying around, you will be fine!

this exactly...if my mother takes her rings (which are like a gazzillion more dollars than mine) on her vacations and just locks them in the safe during the day, i'm sure mine will be absolutely fine

i wanted to get fakes for peace of mind but i got lazy (one more thing to do!) lol and i decided i would worry about them at home since houses can be robbed too, ya know?

I kept it in the safe when i went in the water but it was completely fine. The place was super private and safe

I bought a complete second set at kays and tri county thats was cheaper because i didnt want to risk losing them on the beach. eventhough they are still real they were inexpensive enough that i dont care if i lose them

My rings are pretty tight on my finger and I just wore mine the entire time...and pretty much every other just married couple that we spoke with the wife had hers on too. If yours fit tight enough then I say just wear them...if you buy fake ones they will turn green with all the water...then they just look cheap (JMO)

I'll be wearing my e-ring and band on the HM. I've vacationed with them before and never had an issue.

Since my wedding band is an heirloom I also have an 'everyday' band which is all I brought on my HM, leaving the other wedding band and e-ring at home. I did have to lock it in the room safe for some excursion and even had to leave it at the desk of the watersports center because they advised us not to wear it for SCUBA

I ordered a fake set from Overstock. There's no way I'm bringing my rings on my honeymoon. Mine are insured, but I would be sooo devastated if they are lost or stolen.

Im not wearing/bringing me e-ring, I will wear my wedding band which is very simple so Im not worried about it getting messed up. I wont leave anything of any value at all in my room or use the safe, I just don't trust it!

We wore them the entire time except when we went jet skiing, snorkeling, and swimming. We felt fine leaving them in the safe for those times.

FYI at Sandals we felt really safe with the room safe. we left a good deal of cash in it, my iPhone anda ll of our travel documents., Those safes get set with a pin code, so you're the only one who has access to it

I'm just going to wear my wedding band. My e-ring was my FH's mother's and she's passed. My ring means a lot to not only FH and myself, but to the rest of his family so if something should happen to it I would just be devastated. I just don't want to risk it.
