Wearing Your E-ring Down the Aisle?

Ladies,

Are you going to wear your e-ring down the aisle?
I was watching a movie this weekend and the bride had on her e-ring and the groom put the band right under it.

what do you plan on doing?
Also what is the proper order? ering then band or band then e-ring????

I wore my ering on my right hand for the ceremony and then switched it back to the left afterwards. Your wedding band should be first then the ering

I thought you wore the e-ring on your right hand- this way your ring finger is bare for the wedding ring.

Is it wedding band then e-ring in terms of order?

I am wearing the e-ring on right hand and then switching too!

The band should be on the finger first and then the e-ring.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Originally, I wanted to wear my great-grandmas engagement ring (cuz its gorg and my nanny wore it and passed it on to my mom and her sisters when she passed) on my right ring finger (its the only finger it would fit on) BUT I've noticed that alot of girls wear their own e-ring on their right hand....not sure what to do....I was thinking about incorporating G-gmas e-ring into my bouquet but I don't think that would be very safe, and considering it is so important to my family and very valuable, I'd hate to misplace it!

I just tried putting my ering on my right hand and it barely goes over the knuckle. On my left hand it's loose! In July there's no way I'm going to get it on my right hand without a struggle after, so I think I'm going to just wear it on my left hand and have him slide the band on to follow during the ceremony. Then when we're done and I get back upstairs before the cocktail hour, I'll swap the order (or have him do it).

That's what I'm planning to do (and for the same reason!!!)

I'm wearing my e-ring down the aisle....BUT...in the Jewish religion, during the ceremony the band is actually put onto your pointer finger. It's only after the ceremony that I'll move it to my ring finger.

In your case, I'd put the e-ring on my right hand so my left ring finger is bare during the ceremony. If your e-ring doesn't fit on your right hand, I'd have the MOH hold the ring (or lock it in the bridal suite).

You should update your poll to include 'wear e-ring on right hand' because I'm sure that's what a majority of brides do.

I'm going to wear my ering on my left hand, business as usual. Wedding bands get placed on the right hand for Greek Orthodox ceremonies.

I wore my e-ring. during the rehearsal the officiant had my DH take off my e-ring, slip on the wedding band and then put the e-ring back on. sounds like a long process but it wasnt at all.

my engagement ring will be inserted into my wedding ring, so im gonna have to take it off at some point, for it to be placed as one!
