FH just called from the Southern State (where he has been sitting in traffic for over an hour) and said the roads are HORRIFIC... complete sheet of ice!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

I posted on NWR that it took me an hour from the mall to my house which is like 6-7 traffic lights away, you couldnt see the lanes, or if the traffic lights were red or green, and it was just a slow crawl. IT was the worst I have ever driven in.

It's very bad. It took me an hour for my usual 15-20 ride home from work. Be very careful if you have to go out. I HATE WINTER!!! Enough already!!!

They let us go home early from work... the roads are pretty bad.... but I have to go get my mom cause she gets way too nervous driving home in bad weather.

My FH just got to Brooklyn after a 3.5 hour drve from South Jersey - he said it was horrible.

Have I mentioned that I HATE SNOW??? I left work in Melville at 2pm and I didn't get home to Middle Island until 4:15ish. The roads were a distaster and people truly DO NOT know how to drive.
Just glad to be home and I hope my FH will be careful once he gets off his train.

Yes, it took me 3 hours to travel from Seaford to Northport. I'm so exhausted... can't even begin to grade the quizzes sitting in my bag

TOP THIS - My mom left her job in Brooklyn at 2:30 this afternoon to get to her house on exit 63 off the LIE. Shes only at exit 48 right now!!!!!!
