Did you need to get a passport? I know this isn't related to your post, but we are going there on our honeymoon, too. Our travel agent told us that we didn't need one. Just our birth certificate and license.

I would recommend getting a passport to be safe. I used to use my license and birth certificate when I traveled to the Carribean...but apparently, starting in November, you are going to need a passport to travel anywhere (including Canada). So you might as well get one now and not have to worry. I just got mine in the mail yesterday and it only took a few weeks. Just a thought...

Really! I don't know if I will get it time. I wouldn't even know where to begin to get one. I live in New York with a Jersey license until after the honeymoon, then I'm changing everything. What do I do?

Re: Weather in St Lucia
I went to St. Lucia 2 years ago in early June. It said showers every day, but the showers last only about 15 minutes, and then the rest of the day is sunny and beautiful. You will have a great time!

Thank you! I actually just got off the phone with someone from the state government and they said I do not need a passport. All I need is a valid drivers license and birth certificate.

Re: Weather in St Lucia
I went last year June 3 - 10. It was beautiful most of the time, but the last 2 days it was just one big rain shower after the other. I mean hard downpours. One day it was all day and the next it was for a few hours. We still had a great time!!

I called last night and they told me a drivers license and a birth certificate with the raised seal is fine. Thank you!
