Weatherman said sunny skies, but there was a SHOWER in Brooklyn!
YAY- I had my shower today. Ladies, I can't even BEGIN to tell you how wonderful it all was. It was a 'tea party' at the Greenhouse Cafe in Brooklyn. The food was INCREDIBLE (even by my standards LOL) and a great time was had by all. We had chicken satay, stuffed mushrooms, mini crab cakes, spring rolls with goat cheese, finger sandwiches (cucumber, capreses, ham & cheese) and an UNBELIEVEABLE assortment of jams, warm scones, pastries, cookies, of course TEA, coffee, MIMOSAS! wine- the WORKS!
I was blessed to have so many people attend and we received so many wonderful gifts.
My maid and matron of honor went so far above and beyond- I can't even tell you. The favors were lollipops made from Jacques Torres chocolate . and they also made sachets with tea and teabags in Organza bags with the lable 'Lady Jessica's tea party' (I NEED pics!)
the Greenhouse Cafe was so GREAT! the food was delicious (as described above) and the wait staff was awesome. Everything was attended to perfectly. I don't think there could have been ONE complaint.
I HIGHLY recommend a shower or any other event there.
Special 'shout-out' to my 06'ers that came, Christine and Hollie (thank you so much) and my 06'ers that sent their regards and regrets (Qiana..and oh yeah Sasha- ok fine, she's '05 LOL) Thank you so much for the sweatshirt. I can't wait to wear it proudly!

Congrats again Jess!!! I had an amazing time, and it was so nice meeting your family and friends who welcomed Hollie and I open-heartedly.
Everything was AMAZING!!!!! The gifts were great, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
