wed dress help

hi ladies my wedding is in july-08 and i want to know if i should start dress shopping, but i would like to lose 25 lbs first. who knows how long that'll take what do u ladies think i should do. im lost. i dont want to order my dress too late and stay without a dress

I think they say 6 months. I have mine already- but that was by accident. ( I found it just looking for BM dresses and fell in love)

I was wondering the same thing actually. I plan on getting married in July of next year too, but we haven't set a date just yet..

I bought The knot magazine the other day, and the issue had 100's of dresses, so of course that peaked my interest to go online and take a look. I had no intention on looking for dresses yet, but I found one that I really loved and, being impatient, I started calling stores to see if it was in stock. I went to go try it on at 2 places (wasn't happy at the 1st store so I went elsewhere) and I love it. I put a deposit on it yesterday!! Am I nuts?!

the time between ordering your gown, and actually getting it in varries from 3 months to over a year.
I would definitely start looking so that you know how much time you have.

I am getting married in March and have not ordered my gown yet. This has eliminted certail designers for me.
