ok i'm 6 months away & I still need to do the following - flowers - bridesmaid dresses & accessories -invitations -favors -honeymoon -tuxs -wedding bands -shoes for me
Can someone tell me its ok? I mean I've gotten everything else done in like the first 3 weeks when I got engaged so I'm not THAT stressed - but is this realllly bad???
I'm not undecisive so its not like I have to go to 15 florists to know what I want or something so I'm not worried that I'll be running between a million vendors but ..... I just need someone to tell me that its ok.

You are okay, but you should book flowers and order your bm dresses soon. Also start looking for invites. The rest can wait.
Maybe try and do like 1 thing every month so it doesn't become overwhelming.

I think you should really think about finding and ordering your BM dress... sometimes they take 4-5 months to come in!!!
Everything else doesn't take as much time!

You'll be just FINE, don't worry, particularly if you know your own taste. I ordered the BM dresses midjuly for a Nov 23 wedding (at Bridal Reflections Massapequa) they arrived at the end of September so we had PLENTY of time.
IMHO, get the dresses first, invites second, and flowers 3rd, then all the other jewelry and accessories will be easy...
Invites took a LOT longer to finish up and mail out than i ever would have predicted.
As to the florist, there's a chance your #1 or #2 choice might be booked on your date... But there are LOTS of good ones on these boards (and off boards), it would just be good if you had that settled at this point!....
You're absolutely going to be FINE, dont worry!!

I am 6 months away too and still haven't booked my florist or honeymoon or hair person. Or picked out invitations or favors or ordered my veil/tiara or looked for shoes or applied for my passport. Hell, I only mailed out my save-the-dates 2 weeks ago!!! We'll be fine.

I would get the flowers done, escpecially if you know waht you want. They tend to book up quickly. And then the BM dresses..that's my next step. Don't stress it too much, I'm sure it will work out.

maybe do some research so you know what you like/don't like. although tastes change when you walk into a store (dresses/flowers) at least you'll know what you don't want!

I'm a month before you an the only thing I have on that list is flowers.

i would definitely focus on flowers and bm dresses, the dresses especially b/c sometimes they can take a while to come in but otherwise you're fine!
