Wedding

FSIL got married at Fox Hollow this weekend and everything was absolutely PERFECT!

She used Dynamic Beats for her DJ and they were absolutely incredible. They had people up dancing the whole night. There was way more people on the dance floor than there were people at tables in chairs.

The photobooth was a huge hit and they made her a book that we got to write underneath of our picture strip in & we got to take one set home! We must have taken 50 pictures in there!

The food at Fox Hollow was amazing although I would say that maybe a few more servers would speed the process along.

Flowers were gorgeous!

AJ Ingoglia did the videography and of course he is just as amazing as everyone says he is & has an awesome and easygoing personality to match. He was awesome to be around & I REALLLLLYYY wish he wasn't leaving in 2013 =(

FSIL looked absolutely stunning in her Maggie dress--I mean really amazing!

The hotel at Fox Hollow is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are huge and provide a Keurig machine and full refrigerator. Double sinks and separate bathroom with big & comfy King sized beds!

Everything was just stunning & we had an amazing time! Thanks for all the well wishes--now..it's time to really plan mine!

Edited for spelling--as I clearly can't spell write as right. Thanks!

That is where I am getting married. What room were you in? I have the new room the somerly.

I want to do the photo booth with the boom but I am afraid that the people will take the photos and not put any in the book. Were there a lot of pictures placed in the book? I think that is such a cute idea.

Glad to hear you had a great time!

She was in the other room..Winter Garden. I do love the Somerly though it is absolutely stunning.

And as far as the photobooth is concerned--they had attendants there taking one copy and gluing it onto the book and giving you the other copy--so there was no taking of both copies =) HTH!

i looked at the fox hollow and i was concerned about two things...two weddings at once and being either fully outside or fully inside during cocktail hour...there was no inside 'haven' for a hot day if you do it outside...

we were told with a party of about 200 people that the somerly room wouldn't work for us and we were bummed because i thought it maxed out at 216....but the garden room seemed a little tight also with the chairs looking backed up pretty tight...

did you experience any of this? how was the food? did she add on any extras like seafood, sushi or vienese?

Great to hear!! If someone is still looking for a venue I just went to a wedding at North Ritz and it was outstanding. Everything at cocktail hour was great...the servers were fast to clean up dishes... we had one waiter per table in the reception room... filet mignon had to be about 10 oz it was huge and delicious.

Her wedding was about 160 people and it didn't seem tight at all. If I didn't know that there were two weddings there (from looking at halls for myself), I would have never known there was another wedding going on. I honestly don't even know where the other rooms are and didn't see anyone else but our group.

The cocktail hour was inside in the Fireside room... it was okay--I did feel like it was a little bit crowded but it was still very nice. They did have the Seafood boat at the cocktail hour and everyone was up there numerous times.

The cocktail hour food was very good & so was the dinner. We had a steak & shrimp dinner and it was fantastic. The waiters ran drinks to the table for us and I felt like the service was very good.

But in your concern with having two hundred people there... the room that we were in definitely couldn't have accommodated that size group.
