I want to wear my dress FOREVER! But, since that's not possible, any ideas for what to do / where to go AFTER the reception ends? Ours will be a Friday night, ending at about midnight. Thanks!!
we went and hung at my moms house after the recep...it ended at 6 so we just had snacks and hung with family
If we're not dead, we'll party at the hotel bar . . . but I think we'll be exhausted. Our day starts at about 11 a.m. (and I doubt I'll sleep much!) and ends at about 1 a.m.
Im planning on having the hotel we are using keep the bar open later. However, I know past brides have told me that it is wishful thinking because I will be totally exhausted and just want to go to sleep...I want to at least have the option there though !!
We went right back to the hotel after ours (ended around 11:45PM) DH and I were up until 4AM talking about the night and telling stories. I'm glad we didn't go to an afterparty bc we were able to have our alone time.
add an extra hour...we did and our reception will be going until 1:30 in the morning!
OMGGGGG We were so exhausted after our wedding we were just happy to relax and hang with just each other aftwards...plus we slept so hard that night.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Ronkonkoma and were at the bar until 3am and then back to the best mans room until 4:30. DH and I got to bed around 6! We were too busy jumping on the King sized bed and talking about the entire day!
we partied back at the hotel...our best man rented a suite so we had a nice room to hang out in. we were so tired and we wanted it to be a casual thing, we went in sweats haha.
we are all going to change into comfy clothes for our Beach Bonfire After Party!!!!! Sooooo excited for that!
