Wedding Announcements

Wedding Announcements

Hi everyone. My finance and I are having a private cermony in August. We want to send out announcements but have no idea where to look. We have looked at diy kits but it comes with all these extras we dont need.

I just want the announcement card and envelopes. And the envelopes dont even need to have the return address printed on them.

We are looking to not spend more than $150 for 75 announcements.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Wedding Announcements

I sent out some wedding announcements to family in Europe that were not invited to the wedding.
All I did was take some of the better non-pro pics and make up a card in Shutterfly, adding my own wording. The card came with an envelope.
Forgot what the cost was, but not terribly expensive.

Michaels and other craft/stationary stores carry card stock and matching envelopes sold seperately. you can print up your own cards on a computer. if you want to embellish, michaels has great stuff... or try to create a monogram on your computer to put at top center of your card. or just glue a pretty ribbon straight across the top of card.

I do think that the DIY kits at michaels are very affordable .. even if you don't need all that it includes. they are pretty and easy to use. i think that they have 40-50 invites per pack and the avg price is $50 if I'm not mistaken. Try to buy them with a Michael's coupon.. usually a 40% off one regular price item .. in Sunday newday flyer.

Re: Wedding Announcements

I was in Target today.. and they have sets in the wedding aisle that are just the pretty cards and envelopes without all the other stuff like response cards. They were very reasonable and pretty.
