Wedding announcements and NY Times

How do I go about submitting my announcement to the NY Times? What kind of fee is involved? Can I submit it electronically?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

you can email all of your info to [email protected] . send it in at least months in advance and there is no fee...

They have explicit directions on their website.

I will find the link for you.

Usually you have to be part of the upper 'echelon' (sp?) to get your announcement listed...ie: related to GW....or went to a school that was like that...or if you party with Georgina Bloomberg...etc.

I could totally be wrong!

I'd look on NYTimes website, or check theKnot.com NYC board. I'm not sure but we just had some people we knew of in there; one was a ballerina and the other was a girl (friend of BIL) who got married in front of Tiffany's!

YES! And then the reception was at a huka (spelling?!) lounge! BIL and his girlfriend went, then we saw it in the paper and called him because it sounded just like a wedding they described!

That is funny, I read the story in the Times. It was cute.
