This is for my sister. She is getting married in Aug. 09. Does anyone know of a nice restaurant in Nassau or Queens that will hold up to 80 people. It could be a private room or the entire restaurant if they do weddings. TIA

The Parkside ( not sure how many it holds) George Martin in Douglaston has a private room Tom Tom in Wantagh
The Parkside in Queens has private rooms. They should be able to accomodate 80 people. They have an upstairs and a downstairs. The food is great.
I second Park side and also Verdi's of whitestone, the room is really nice.

Waterzooi in Garden City Jonathan's in Garden City Park George Martin in Rockville Centre Novita in Garden City Bistro Citron in Roslyn Mim's in Roslyn Sagamore Steakhouse Syosset The Roslyn Cleremont Hotel
But I think you should check out the George Washington Manor. They have lots of rooms and it's very quaint!!
We have the George Washington Manor on our list. We're going to check it out. Do you know of any brides who got married there? I tried to run a search but it came back with nothing.
Hi! I didn't get married there but two of my cousins did and we also had a large post-funeral luncheon there for my uncle this summer...what can I help with? Pricing?

Which room did you cousins use and what is the capacity of the rooms? I'm looking for a room that will hold 80+ people. Do you have any pictures? Pricing would be nice.

We used the back room for all 3, the one that looks over the lake. I believe its called the Mount Vernon Room? CH was in a smaller room (obvi no CH for the funeral.) I think they can also do CH out on that patio they have but both of them got married in the winter. I believe it was 75-85PP + Tax & grat....not bad but again, winter weddings and one was a Sunday.
As far as pics, I have nada...I'm never the picture taker...lol
And the grounds are GORGEOUS!
ETA, they're brother and sister (and no they didn't marry each other, hahaha) and I think they both had 110ish?

Food was great...CH I can't remember honestly, but I remember the food food was good. More importantly, the bar service was great.
I just remembered too, my other cousin had her baby shower in the other room upstairs, which was nice and really private.
I'm only semi-helpful! Sorry! haha But check out that bride's review
