Okay I have a question....My boyfriend's brother is getting married at the Jericho Terrace and I am absolutely distraught about this because it has been a dream of mine to get married there as well since I was like 10 years old....So my question would be whether or not it is tacky or tasteless to also have my wedding there a year later???

I don't think it's Tacky. If Jericho Terrace is your dream place to get married, you shouldn't let anything stop you. Besides, you are having your wedding one year later so it's not that close to the other wedding.
I am getting married at JT next year and I cannot wait. I've heard nothing but great things about them.

Thank you so much....Because to be honest I have been looking at other catering halls and yes there are other very beautiful catering halls as well, but I almost begin to cry thinking that I could no longer get married there...So I had just wanted to know what others had to say and think about it :)

Definently don't let this stop you. Especially if your heart is set on this place. Besides, you will get to see JT in action right b/f your wedding.

Absolutely not! My friend is a 2012 bride and she'll be getting married there after my May 2010 wedding. It's an awesome place and I'm really excited to be able to go as a guest.
She asked me if it was okay before they booked which was really nice but totally unnecessary.

Definitely don't let it stop you. My friend's sisters are both having their wedding at the same place and almost a year apart.

A family we know, all three daughters had their receptions at the same RH, because they were so impressed with the quality and service- if anything, the guests that will be invited to both, will be that much more excited for yours b/c they'll will know how awesome a JT wedding is!!!

If it's your dream location then that's where you should have it. At the end of the day the rest doesn't matter.

Nothing wrong with this AT ALL!!! Honestly, I was the first in my family (of my siblings and cousins) to get married. If any of them booked JT I would take it as a compliment to my taste!

do it!!! Its a compliment to pick the same place. Wait til his wedding to make sure you still love it and then book it!

I thinks its fine to have your wedding at the same place. If you and FH love JT that's all that should matter!

Re: Wedding at Jericho Terrace
i think it is different if brothers get married at the same place. i wouldn't get married the same place as my sister. or his sister. but not because it is tacky i just dont want so much of a comparison. If that is your dream place go with it. ( get the better room though )

Re: Wedding at Jericho Terrace
who cares. if you want it there and its your dream go for it. Ive always loved one country club and then my cousin got married there. She said to me i wouldnt mind if you got married there. I felt like saying i dont care if you mind , you dont own all the wedding halls. Go for it, your weddings going to be different anyways!!
