Wedding @ Swan Club Tomorrow..
I went to my friends wedding there two weeks ago, it was so so pretty. I think they had one waiter per table if I remember correctly. I has the salmon which was really good (loved the twice baked potatoes too). My fh had the chateau briand which was do good, but I personally don't like rosemary which I could taste in the seasoning so I had a tiny bite of that. Cocktail hour was really nice they had the seafood bar which was ok, to be honest the oysters were not fresh (could've been a bad batch though, who knows) but everything was truly beautiful, Viennese hour was delish. And the venue was so beautiful!!! Staff and service was good too.

the wedding was very nice. they had their ceremony indoors at this room overlooking the water- it was gorgeous. the cocktail hour was good, it was also indoors. they had the reception in the big room, it was about 150 people. the fireplace was on which was so nice. dance floor was a good size. we really liked the food-both my FH and I had the sliced filet mignon- so good. there was only one waiter per table. cake was very good also.
my only critique would be that during the toasts, you could hear the other wedding going on in the other room. we could hear the bass, and also heard people cheering from the other wedding. we noticed though that the doors to the room where they had the reception were open-i think if the waitstaff had shut them it would have been better.

I'm getting married there in 2014! Did you think there was enough room for 150 people? I'm planning on having about 170 to 200 - do you think there is enough room? I feel like the layout of the room makes it look smaller than it actually is and every time I think about it, I can't see more than 10 tables fitting in there comfortably!
Also, where was the Viennese hour set up?
Thanks!

They had 150 at the wedding we were at, the only area that was tight was the cocktail hour room. There was a tent set up outside for people to sit but I think everyone wanted to be close to the food. It was a little tight to walk around but not terrible. In the ballroom, They had two tables set up on the dance floor on both sides of the sweetheart, but not sure if that was bc they couldn't fit or if the b&g requested to have their family close. Viennese hour was nice. It was set up outside the ballroom (between the ballroom and bathrooms in that lobby area). Desserts and food were all good.
