So I bought my wedding band...but now I'm having second thoughts!! Since I have 60 days to return it if I change my mind, I decided to take it to the boards! Pls let me know what you girls think...TYIA!!!
I want to first reinforce that I think the band is beautiful, but I do want to say that when looking at the two together, something doesn't look right. Maybe because my eye instantly goes to the band instead of the e-ring due to all the diamonds around the band.
I love that it matches the smaller diamonds around the main one on the e-ring though, but it seems to take away from the beauty of it

Re: Wedding Band
Thanks! See, I agree with you but FH and the sales lady said otherwise...that the band highlights the halo of diamonds that surrounds the main one. So I went with what they said bc it's so hard finding a band that matches this ring! I tried on some bands that match the e-ring band but they blend in and look weird... Any ideas on what type of band might match better?

Re: Wedding Band
I agree with the PP...I think because the WB matches the center ring of diamonds, and those pieces are very modern and clean looking and the ER has a more ornate antique feel. Maybe you could find a band that has some vintage-y element to it to match the style of the ER?
Don't get me wrong, I like it and your rings are gorgeous! But if you feel like there is something not quite right, then make it right while you still have a chance!

Re: Wedding Band
They are beautiful, but together something is off, like you said. Could you find a band that has the milgrain like you ering has? I think if you found something that has the antique look that ering has it might look better together. HTH!

Re: Wedding Band
Looking quickly I didn't even see a band. They are 2 different designs but I think they look great together. I think anything you put next to your GINORMOUS ering is going to look a little off. Thats a sweet ring
Good luck i think you're fine!

Re: Wedding Band
Your E-ring is so blingy in itself that you dont want to take away from it with your band.
I had the same issue while shopping. I went in wanting a band with bling and detail and against my e-ring that sits high with alot of detailing it looked awful. So I had to get a simpler band, that looked good solo and also with my e-ring. I will see if I can upload pics into my album

Re: Wedding Band
If you are having trouble finding a WB that you like with your e-ring, have you thought about wearing you WB on your left ring finger and switching your e-ring to your right. That way you can let your e- ring stand out and get whatever WB you like. This is what I have to do since there is no way to have a band flush against my e-ring

Re: Wedding Band
I think the WB matches the stones around your diamond. It's just that it doesn't match the design on the band of the e-ring. I don't think its a big deal they still look good together. Keep looking to see if you look something better. All that matters is how you like it.

Re: Wedding Band
Thank you all for your help...I really appreciate all of your input!! I agree with what you guys said and I will keep looking to see if I find anything that feels more 'right' to me. After all, I'm going to be wearing this for the rest of my life! Wish me luck lol!
Good luck finding the right ring. I think it would look best matching the bottom part of the band, though there's a chance of it looking like one big ring.
