So FH and I have been going back and forth about this. We'd really love a live band but the one I like is 6,000. I was wondering if anyone knew of cheaper bands out there?

Look into timepiece or vision - they are both franklin wayne bands and he will definitely try to work with your budget!

Did you try to negogiate the price? Usually on a Friday night or Sunday wedding you have more negogiating power.

We used Soul Revival and they were amazing! They were totally flexible with the number of the people in the band, thus making the pricing reasonable. A friend of mine is going to their showcase this Wednesday to check them out for her wedding, which is always a good thing. I highly recommend them, they really were awesome and sounded great! HTH!

When I first read this I thought you where taking about wedding bands ie rings. I was thinking $6000 will by you one nice wedding band. LMAO

Look into Peat Moss and the Fertilizers. They are around $5,000 and also bring a dj.

Call Jerry Kravat - We met with them and they are amazing! They worked out a price that was really reasonable! We really wanted a band from Hank Lane but they were playing games with us so we walked away. After my mom heard the band we ended up picking from Jerry Kravat she said they were even better then the original band we had wanted.
