Wedding Band Help

Wedding Band Help

I have been trying to decide what kind of band would look good with my engagement ring. The jeweler we got the ring from was saying they have to take a mold of the ring into the city in order to get a band that would fit. I didn't really like that idea so I decided to wait. Now, I need to decide.

I always love the look of a 'anniversary' band but I would have to wear my e-ring on my right hand if I get that. What do you think? Please post pictures of your ring with the band if it is an unusual shape.

Thanks!

E Ring with type of band I like, would have to be worn on opposite hands. Otherwise, I would like to see how a skinny eternity band would look with it.

Hey....not sure if you are interested...but I NEED to highly recommend that you check out Elegant jewelers at the Attias Flea market.....I know how people feel about flea markets...but the jeweler there (arsen) made mine and FH's rings (in platinum) and he did an AMAZING job for an INSANE price! I think he'd really help you out....it's worth the trip!

I don't have any issues with flea markets. Where is this located? Also, what was the process, did you have to leave your e ring with them?

Fh designed my ring and it is really unique. I will not be able to wear my band w it but mynjewker could have made me anything I wanted to match it. Fh went to gorgeous diamonds in massapequa and worked w Peter. Located on merrick road. Hth

Re: Wedding Band Help

my engagement ring is a 3 stone princess cut - with the center stone surrounded on all sides by diamonds in square shapped trim (hard to describe but dont have any pictures)
it was impossible to find anything that fit a square shapped center diamond so i went with a really thin row of diamonds for our wedding bands. there will be a space between my rings, but at least i can switch hands if it bothers me.
we went to kay jewelers at the riverhead outlets - they are amazing there.

Hey...it's in Sayville. Right off of Sunrise Highway. I did NOT leave my ring with them. You can speak directly to the jeweler, and I guarantee he's going to be less than someone from a jewelry store. His name is Arsen, and he's very talented. Elegant Jewelers. Check him out. Hope it helps! I LOVE my ring!

Thank You!! Any price range you could give me? I'm sure he could work with whatever we ask right? I'm looking to spend under 1k, hopefully more like $600-$700 for mine. Is this ok with him you think?

How much do custom bands with the indent/groove go for on average (with little diamonds in it)?

Can I ask what the difference is between designing your band & buying one you see at the jewelers? Is one idea more cost effective & better quality..

Re: Wedding Band Help

Usually you can get it to fit your engagement ring as if it was made together when you design the band. I have not found something yet that fits and that is the same exact coloring. It's tricky. Sometimes it is less expensive for the quality you get but it depends where you go.

Re: Wedding Band Help

I work part-time in a jewelry store and most vendors that make unique settings make a matching band, you should have the person who made your e-ring check if the company has a matching band

The setting was an estate piece so the jeweler had no way of knowing where it was from...

THIS! my family has been using Elegant for like 15yrs and everything they have done has been great. My e-ring is oddly shaped and I have just decided not to try and wear the rings together.

What if you did 2 smaller eternity bands with the engagement ring in the middle?
