wedding band issues
Hi ladies! So, my fiance and I went wedding band browsing yesterday and NOTHING matches by ring, and I mean nothing!
My ring is a real vintage ring that is 18k white gold but the ring is filagree...I know all jewelers are like you can get a custom band made...but thatll cost an arm and a leg.
If anyone knows of any vintage jewelers please share because I am going insane over here...thanks ladies!
Margaret

If you go to the Tri County Flea Market in Levittown, they will custom make your ring for 1/2 the price you would be quoted anywhere else. My ring has a pretty unique design too (it was FHs great grandmothers), so I am wearing my engagement ring on my right hand and wedding band on the left after marriage.

Do you mind wearing the rings on different hands? My E-ring has baguettes in it, which I'm not a huge fan of (but it's my deceased FMIL's ring so I can't change a thing). Instead of getting a band to match it, I want to get a band that will match just the center stone if I want to wear them together. Otherwise I plan on wearing them on opposite hands.

I will definitely check out the Tri County Flea Market-- thank you so much!! The guy at Kay's recommended wearing them on different hands also...I just don't know if I want to do that....decisions, decisions...

Hmm..Have you tried going to the bowery in the city? They may be able to custom make you something. It is hard to gauge without seeing a pic. Good luck!Welcome New Vendors
