We booked Marc Elliot Music. He doesnt really seem to advertise and I believe it is a more private owned band versus those like Hank Lane and Vali which have multiple bands. We actually saw them at a friends wedding last year and they left a great impression on my FH which is interesting cuz he is extremely picky about music. He is very personable and he even comes to your house to meet and show you a demo dvd. I felt comfortable with him immediately!!!! I may have been a bit wary about booking someone who is not as well known but I am telling you that the wedding we went to last year had a packed dance floor ALL NIGHT!!!! His price for his band is $8500 for a 10 piece and if you wanna add members to the band it's $1,000 more per band member. I found his price to be a bit less than the others we saw. We only booked the 10 piece, which is what you see in the demo dvd, because we actually had to book a separate greek band for my FH's side of the family. Marc was very accomodating regarding working with another band. He even offered to share any of his equipment in order to save space at the reception. You also get to keep the demo, which was great b/c I got to show all of our family members and they all agreed that they looked like a very fun and entertaining group.

We used Milestone Music. They were awesome!!$5,800.
We're using Bodyheat, they're about $8000 and worth every penny they are totally awesome. My sister used them for her wedding, and the dance floor was packed the whole night!
