Wedding Band Price

So FH and I tried on some wedding bands today. I found one that I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE for myself. Since it's the same jewelery store that FH bought my e-ring, the jeweler said he'd call me this week to see if he could get me a better price than what was listed. Anyway, the ring is platinum with pave diamonds around half of the ring. And instead of it being a straight band, it's kind of waves where the diamonds are. I'm sure I didn't explain it well, but I promise, it's GORGEOUS.

So my question is...did anyone here get a platinum wedding band with either pave or very small diamonds in either a semi-eternity or eternity style? If so, could you please let me know about how much you paid? The list price was around $1,800 but I'm hoping he can knock a few hundred off. Is this anywhere in the right ballpark?

my band is eternity style & platinum...it was about $1750 when we bought it but i know the price has gone up since then...HTH.

That's basically the idea of the one I found today...Only this one was a single band (not double) and diamonds only halfway around.

So hopefully if they knock a few hundred $$s off it might seem reasonable...
