So we bought our wedding bands today...im soo excited until my fiancee tells me his best friend told him it is bad luck to have a wedding band with the diamonds half way around...is this true??? Im not supersticious at all...but...I still wanna know...just curious...

I never heard of that...but i know some cultures beleive any stone in the wedding band is bad luck...don't worry about stuff like that! And congrats on getting your rings!

The diamonds on my band are halfway around, i'm not worried. Hey, for every old-wives tale and superstition that says one thing, there's another that says the opposite. Don't even think about it.

Some religious traditions say that a wedding band should be simple and free of any ornamentation. But I've never heard that it's bad luck... don't sweat it.

i heard that diamonds all the way around means love everlasting for eternity and half way means marriage will end in divorce....
WHAT!!!!!!!!! How crazy is that! So because of the amount of diamonds in my ring...the laws of nature are altered?

I never heard that it's bad luck - but I do know that in Jewish weddings the wedding band should be simple and free of any ornamentation... but FH did what we liked and got something different ( ).
