I found a wedding band that I love and best of all matches up nice with my ring. I have an antique style engagment ring and it is kind of hard to find a band that just hits me. The band I found is $1500. Do you think I am out of my mind? We are forking out so much money as it is. Do you think this is too much money? It is 7 diamonds across that are 11 points each, set in white gold, with an antique style. I love the jeweler I am working with and trust him 100%. Please tell me what you think.

I'd spend whatever you want on your ring, you have to wear it forever.
I spent a bit more than that on my band & I have no regrets! Look what we spend on ONE day, may as well buy something you'll LOVE to wear forever!

Also, be sure for .77 pts you are getting good stones for that much. I paid a bit more and got 1.64 carats set in platinum, and it weighs! that's a big difference

Us females understand, it is the FH that does not. His band of course is cheaper and he just did not have a clue on what my band would cost. I think I freaked him out. I think I am going to go with it and we will just make payments on it up until the wedding. I do not want to just settle on a ring for a couple hundred dollars and then in a couple of years having to replace it with one that I truly like.

I think it is too much, I am getting mine made to match my ring. It is a channel setting with some work and I also got diamonds on the inner and outer part of the ring (if you know what I mean). It was under a $1000 (quality diamonds) - we went to the diamond district where he bought the engagement ring. I would definately bargain with them - we did.
