Wedding Band Question * UPDATED WITH PICS

My engagement and wedding band is white gold. Does FH band need to match or can he get the yellow gold? Will that look funny? What is customary?

ofcourse he can! He should get what he likes best. IMO there is absolutely nothing tacky about that.

I think the more traditionally way is to have them match HOWEVER nowadays its typical for the bands not to match..Ive seen it done...if he found something he likes and it doesnt match urs..it doesnt matter...def. go for it.

do whatever you want...they don't need to match! I look better in platinum & FH looks great in gold...so we each got what we liked!

mine is white gold and FH's band is tungsten steel.. thats what he wanted..I think just get what you guys like..

no need to match!
Ours didn't.
Matchy matchy is nice if you both love the same thing....but so unnecessary. Go with what you like best.
Its what it symbolizes that matters,,,,,not what color gold it is.
