wedding band (ring)

hi,
when you girls bought your wedding bands, did you get some type of certificate with the band, like a GIA certificate?

I bought a semi-eternity band, but didn't receive a GIA certificate with it. Is this normal?

not all diamonds are gia certified, did the jeweler tell you it was?

yeah, she said that it was and she could give me a certificate if I wanted.

you should ask for it if you want to insure it you will need the certificate

2010 bride here:

some place mail that information.

i know when FH purchased my e-ring he left the store with the ring & the receipt. about a week later we received a binder from the store, with a letter of congratulations, the diamond fact sheet, & 3 letters that state how much he paid (for insurance purposes).
