tonight I went to elsa jewelers to start the process of customizing my ring!!!!!!! its really such an interesting process. Today they took the wax model and made it to match the design of my ring... I go back in a few weeks to ok the next step! so exciting!!!!!

Yay! I love that I have my wedding ring already :) It matches my e-ring, thats cool that they're making it like that.

that sounds awesome!! How is the pricing when you design your own ring? Do you feel it's comparable to buying a ring from the case?

I felt the price for a ring that will perfectly match was really really fair and reasonable!
FH and I went to a million different jewelry stores looking for a wedding ring and while yes, it is a lil more expensive than stores like zales or kay, it worked out to be cheaper than some other jewelery stores that aren't a franchise.

I dont shop at the franchise type jewelry stores either, so I hear you.
I cant wait to see the finished product! FH and I have not even really discussed going wedding band shopping yet. Another thing to add to my growing list! lol

ooh exciting!! I didn't know the process so its cool to read about! Didnt know you get a wax model first! (though it makes sense)
Can't want to hear more about it! my e-ring is my great-grandmothers so the setting is very different and I i have been wondering what the heck kind of band am I going to get to match! haha

It takes a few months. If you plan on using Elsa I think you should have enough time, but you may want to give it a lil extra time just to be safe. HTH and let me know if you have any other questions!
