My girlfriend is looking into hiring a band for her wedding and her mother in law is recommending a band called Trend. She says they are a long island wedding band, but I have never heard of them before. Thought one of my LI Wedding girls might have information about them - good/bad, size, cost, etc .... anything info is appreciated!!

If it is the band I'm thinking of they are fab - although I'm biased b/c the lead singer is/was a very good friend of mine. (we lost touch a while back). They used to play clubs as well as doing weddings. They stopped doing clubs a few years back b/c the wedding business was picking up so much, so I haven't seen them in a while. But I once drove 7 hours straight through the night to see them! They are either 5 piece (lead singer, keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums) or nine piece with all of the above plus 4 piece horn section. If it is the same band the leader's name is Gene and he plays keyboards. At the time my friend was singing with them the band was Gene on keyboard, Jerry on drums, Jerome on guitar, Roger on bass, (I might have Roger & Jerome mixed up) and Kevin as lead singer (he also plays sax on some songs). HTH!!
