where did you all get your wedding bands? FH and i are going to the city on saturday, and we can't come home until we have purchased rings!!! we both already know what we want, it's just a matter of finding the best value. FH wants a brushed platinum band, and i want an eternity band. any recommendations would be helpful!!

FH and I went with Kay's - lifetime warranty on bands and diamonds for free diamond replacement!!! Can't beat that and their prices were exceptional!

I bought my wedding band online @ Jewelry47.com - Gary Weiss runs the store on 47th & 5th.
I was very worried about ordering online and told him I would only buy it if I could return if it wasn't what I wanted - he said absolutely no problem. I got the band on a friday and had it appraised the next day - I wanted to be sure I didn't get ripped off. The ring was appraised for 50% more than I paid. So I definitely got a great deal.
If the actual store is anything like the online site - I totally recommend them!

We got our bands from my dad's friend who is a jeweler. I have an eternity band w/ shared prongs and it's really comfy (i've only tried it on a few times but I can't wait to wear it). Good luck and have fun!

We did too. Someone in the diamond district. I got a small eternity band with tiny beading on the outside for around $650. FH is still looking for a brushed band also.

Any relation to Jimmy Weiss? That is where FH got my ring - he is his family's jeweler...

We got both my engagement ring and our wedding bands from Good Old Gold in Massapequa Park. I'm pretty sure they're a LI Weddings vendor. They've been excellent since the first time we walked in there, totally clueless about diamonds. If you plan on looking at some places on the island, you should definitely consider going to see them!
