Re: Wedding bands

we're getting ours from our jeweler at tricounty, diamond roof. It depends what type of band u want, but mine is platinum with about 3/4 carats of diamonds...its costing me about 1350...a little pricey bc of the platinum. My FH's band is a white gold comfort band, its about 350. Hope that helps!! He also does layway as well and doesn't charge u tax if u pay cash!

Re: Wedding bands

We paid using our credit card. DH wanted a simple band with no diamonds, so his was about $120 after taxes and engraving. My had diamonds and engraving, and it was around $400 in total.

ETA: We used Kay's and bought the rings while on sale.

Mine came from Zales..I'm not sure if they have a layaway plan but you can apply for a line of credit and put it on there and you can set it so if you pay it off in a year or so it's interest free.

prices vary on what type of band you want. you can get a plain band for a couple of hundred bucks. once you start adding diamonds and such the prices goes up.

it also depends on the quality of diamonds that you get on the band...

Platinum is more expensive than gold but platinum is a much stronger metal.

U can get a ton of simple ones for cheap at overstock.com 200-300 bucks for a nice comfort fit gold band.

I got a nice comfort fit white gold one that I had engraved wtih cherry blossoms circling 1/3 of the band, it has one diamond in the middle of the large flower for $450.

dh got his tungsten with platinum inlay band for $1200. u can see pictures of both in my wedding album

got both through a jewelrer in the city, he's graet to work with.

FH and I got ours at Fortunoff's. I paid less than a thousand for a white gold band with pave diamonds. I love it. FH got a white gold band for less than $400. We just paid cash for it too.

Re: Wedding bands

FH wanted a plain band with an engraved design. No bling for him. So we went to Attias Flea Market just to get a feel for what he design/size/gold type looks best on his hand and the rings he's liked most went from $150-$300. They all had layaway and prices included engraving.

Ours came from Pico Jewelers in the diamond district. We paid for the rings a little bit each time we would be in the neighborhood. They were really great.
