Went to the store last week..they had the most unique and gorgeous stuff I have seen so far. I didn't talk $$$ yet but I think they may be on the high side.

We looked at the Karat Shop on Westbury also and will probably get our rings there. We both found ones that we loved and the prices are pretty reasonable.

We bought our wedding bands from two different shops in Chinatown, NYC. They gave us great prices - saved us a bundle!

Re: wedding bands

Can someone please tell me where the karat shop is in Westbury and maybe how to get there? I am coming from Bayside Queens...so either the grand central or the lie would be helpful. Thank you so much!

Here are directions to the Karat Shop. You need to get to Old Country Road. If you take the Grand Central to the Northern State and then go onto the Meadowbrook going South, get off at Old Country Road going East to Westbury. You then need to take old country road for about 2 miles (I might be wrong, I am estimating). You will pass fortunoff's, pass Merrick Avenue where there is a restaurant called Bacci's on the Right then keep going until after you pass a few car places on the left and keep going a few more blocks and you need to make a left on Kinkel Street. It is a really small block stuck in between car dealerships and I think a small bank (I don't really remember what is there). But there are signs, just go slow and make a left onto Kinkel Street. It is an industrial street and looks like there would never be a jewelry store there but it is on that block on the right side. Hope this helps and good luck!

Re: wedding bands

I have an awesome jeweler down near canal & bowery. this is where he got my engagement ring. I got a 1.5 round diamond, set in a platinum tiffany setting with baguettes on the sides (1.83 total weight), my diamond is a d in color & almost flawless & if i told you what he paid you'd be shocked (got it wholesale!) as for band, he designs any thing you want and he is not expensive.
Murray Kirsch Inc.
Let me know if you want an awesome good quality band(s) at wholesale prices.

I totally recommend Diamond Bee Jewelers in St. James if you are looking for a place in Suffolk. My FH got my engagement ring there, we are getting our bands there, BM gifts, some GM gifts and my FH gets all my b-day jewelery there for good prices! If you want more info, just let me know!
